Bill graduated in 1980 from Fairfield University in Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. During the first 9 years of his career, Bill worked for a local CPA firm and then for Pricewaterhouse to fulfill his CPA requirements. He passed the CPA exam in 1985. In 1989, he joined Saab-Scania of America as Tax Manager where he worked closely with David Orange and Joseph Martorelli, founders of Orange & Martorelli.
Following Saab's relocation in 1992, Bill remained in Connecticut in private industry spending 8 years with Richemont North America, Inc., the US headquarters of a foreign owned luxury goods company comprised of the most prestigious luxury brands in the world including Cartier, Baume Mercier, Piaget, and Monte Blanc. Initially serving as Tax Manager, responsible for all tax functions of Richemont, Bill soon was promoted to Director of Tax, responsible for the payroll and treasury functions as well. Following Richemont, Bill worked as Tax Manager for Ann Taylor, a leader in the women's fashion industry. Most recently, he worked as Tax Manager for ASSA ABLOY, the U.S. parent company of a Swedish based manufacturer and distributor that is considered the global leader in door opening and secured access solutions.
Bill is a member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CSCPA) and of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He is a Tax Section member of the AICPA.
Bill joined Orange & Martorelli during 2006 and was admitted to the Partnership in 2007.
